the crazy part is that when the cop was talking to one of the girls.....she just kept asking if she would be able to go to cheerleading practice

I heard a big discussion on the radio while driving this morning about why kids are doing all this stuff...people were calling in and giving their opinions. Some people were saying, "where are the parents these days?" One person who called in said that he blamed the school system because noone was allowed to show emotions anymore and they keep it bottled up inside until it gets to that point. He said kids get expelled for showing any anger and noone was allowed to hug or anything anymore...

there is alot of that nonsense going on all over the country

i cant say i agree at all

i think the blame lies with all parties involved

the schools are trying to prevent kids from showing any emotion about anything

parents arent teaching kids about responsibility or accountability.......kids can do whatever they want and the parents will bail them out if they get into trouble.....and spoil the hell out of them by giving them anyhting they want.

its a problem across the board

yep, schools wouldn't be so paranoid about things if so many parents didn't sue for every little thing.

Alot of kids are spoiled these days. They are given everything they want and not taught to care for anyone but themselves. I have noticed some parents let their girls dress and act horrible just as long as they are popular, they don't care. I think some moms want their girls to be popular at whatever cost. It seems like they are forgetting to teach them how to be good people.

All these "My Super Sweet Sixteen" shows and all that where you see these girls pitching fits because their mom gave them their 80,000 dollar car before their party when nooone could see it-nonsense. The girls think it's cute to be little smart mouthed-vamps. I would have gotten my mouth mashed for talking to my mom like that! It's not just the shows, they just show the trend in America these days. We need to teach our kids to be good people and to not worry so much about frivilous things.
